Technology

The development of genome-sequencing technologies, especially the application of next-generation sequencing has accelerated the study of the gut microbiota. Metaproteomics, based on mass spectrometry (MS), provides functional information on the signaling and metabolic pathways in the gut microbiota.

These findings clearly suggest that evaluating the intestinal environment based on only the gut microbiota is insufficient. Therefore, JMI adopted Metaproteomics ,Metabolomics, Metagenomics, to create Metabiogenix®️, which provides an integrated analysis of the gut microbiota and metabolites to accurately evaluate the intestinal environment. JMI brought its expertise in developing an artificial intelligence program called Gene-sonar, allowing to bring a new dimension to Metabiogenix advanced technology, also the agility to keep evolving the technology and developing personalized solutions for doctors.

JMI created Metabiogenix®️ which is an integrative study of microbiota and of metabolites.

Some metabolites produced by the microorganisms in the gut can cause not only intestinal diseases, but also diseases in other organs through blood circulation. Moreover, the metabolites may differ depending on the composition of the gut microbiota because different species may have different processing functions owing to their different genomes.

JMI’s technology, Metabiogenix consists of cutting edge technologies developed in academia.

Data exported from Metabolomics, Metagenomics and Metaproteomics are integrated in the AI Gene Sonar system to observe the intestinal environment.
